Holy crap! Okay, I know I’ve been gone forever (I kind of lost interest in SPG and it’s ever-growing fandom) but now I’m back! So, uh, send in your confessions I guess if people still care about this blog haha

23 messages holy crap.

Okay, I guess this is kind of my fault for procrastinating lol but I’m closing the ask box until I finish everything.

But uhm, y’know, feel free to make your own submissions :o)

“While I’m not into it myself, I think people are overreacting to some of the less “family friendly” fan stuff. SPG is a popular band, getting more popular all the time, and the crowd they attract does tend to have significant crossover with more… intense fandoms, where people are just accustomed to seeing and/or creating porn and whatnot. I understand (and agree with) objections to people who fetishize Bunny for being trans* or something like that, and there will always be RPF debates in EVERY fandom, but just run-of-the-mill sexual art/fiction of the characters? As long as people tag it appropriately, I guess I don’t see the problem…
It’s not like this is anything new. Popular bands have always had their hot-and-bothered fans. The internet just makes it easier to express fannish desires.”
OP adds: Unless someone in the band has specifically asked for this stuff to stop, in which case it should definitely stop.
